Discover the art of linocut printmaking in this beginner-friendly workshop! Linocut is a simple printmaking process where you carve a design into a soft carving block, roll ink across the surface, and press it onto paper to create your own handmade prints.
Students will choose from woodland-inspired designs including bears, deer, foxes, mushrooms, and more. You’ll learn how to transfer your design, safely carve basic shapes and textures, ink your block, and create repeatable artwork.
Each student will leave with their carved block plus two 4" × 6" hand-pulled prints to take home and display.
Want to make something functional? Students will also have the option to upgrade and print their design onto a tote bag for an additional $10.
All supplies are included—no experience necessary.
